For those who are interested, the Salerno Hospital has been in the news recently.
The Christian Science Monitor did a story about our Chaplain, CPT Kurt Bishop. He's assigned to Task Force Desert Hawk, the Aviation Task Force from the Arizona National Guard. He has also adopted the hospital, voluntarily, I might add.
Also, CNN did a story about the training program we have of Afghan doctors. They interviewed members of my staff, both US and Afghan.

Glad to see that your good work is being noticed. Your chaplain seems like a particularly good guy.
It's always rewarding to see the good work of our military in Afghanistan recognized by MSM. Chaplain Bishop seems great. I'm really glad to see chaplains getting recognition for all the good the perform. Many a chaplain has assisted/planned and executed "seeing my tasks/schemes/plans accomplished." Shepherds come in all shapes, sizes, and clothing, and they too "love it when a plan (for the good of their people) comes together." Special OPS guys have nothing on the Chaplaincy Corp. I don't care what their rank, some First SGT blood seems to run through every chaplain's veins.
